1959 Kentucky Derby Tomy Lee
This photograph shows Tomy Lee with Hall of Fame rider Bill Shoemaker aboard, holding off Sword Dancer to win the 1959 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
